MEAT was founded in 1945, initially operating as a distributor of automotive spare parts.

In the early 1950s, MEAT began manufacturing carburetor spare parts, a segment that gradually became increasingly important in the company’s strategy.

Over the years, the technological know-how of MEAT grew, and the company became a leader in the European carburetor parts market.

In 1985, the filter manufacturer DORIA joined the company.

Today, MEAT & DORIA, thanks to the experience accumulated over the years, offer more than 10,000 different products for European, American, and Asian vehicles – including filters, fuel pumps, electrical automotive components, and more.
